Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

You can use our ILL services to request books, articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, or other materials that aren't available at BİLGİ, or to request a digital scan of an article or book chapter from one of our non-circulating collections. Note: we do not borrow e-books or textbooks, including any required course materials. Request an Interlibrary Loan Need materials you can't find through University Libraries? Interlibrary Loan is a free service for accessing books, articles and research materials from other libraries.

When to Request

If you have tried searching and what you want is not available in the libraries' collections or online resources.

Request Limits

Academic staff, graduate, doctorate students: 5 active requests at a time. NOTE: Patrons planning on submitting more than 10 loan requests for physical materials (i.e. books, A/V, etc.) during a single semester are encouraged to contact the Interlibrary Loan Department before submitting requests.

Lending to other libraries

10 Books for 15 days (İstanbul)
10 Books for 21 days (outside İstanbul)
