Library Rules
- If a book can not be found on the shelves, you should ask the librarian.
- The penalty for any lost resource, tablet and accessory are double the original purchase price plus 20 tl the processing fee or the lost material is provided by the user and delivered to the library.
- Upon leaving the library, all library resource must be displayed to the exit-attendant.
- Upon leaving the library, bags, briefcases etc. must be displayed for inspection to the exit-attendant.
- All library resource is protected by an electronic security system. If the alarm goes off, user may be subject to a body scan.
- Attempted theft or mutilation of any library resource will result in heavy penalty (suspension for the student).
- You are obligated to clear your records before graduating and leaving the university.
- Student accounts that still contain overdue resource after two warnings will be put on hold.
- Making multiple or whole photocopies of any library resource is not permitted.
- Please do not re-shelve the books after using them.
- Cell phone chats are not permitted.
- Beverages in covered, spill-proof containers may be brought into the library. Eating is not permitted.
- Smoking are not permitted.
- Loud conversation are not permitted.
- Only BİLGİ students and Alumni may use the library and study halls after 22:00.
- Only BİLGİ students and Alumni may use the Dolapdere Library study halls after 19:00.
